Pele

Pele came to us at 18 yo under the saddest circumstances.  His owners had separated, the house was to be sold and the man who had him for his whole life was working FIFO and couldn’t take him.

Pele was blind and deaf when he came into our care and we knew that adoption wasn’t an option – it was about a comfortable retirement for the old fella!

And that was exactly what he had at #mylormanor🏡

In his last weeks, Pele developed dementia and couldn’t be helped with medication.  We decided that it was his time.

After a last supper of roast chicken, he had a cuddle, a wander in the sunshine and was laid to rest with Miffy (a grand old dame) on Thursday 26th December 2019.
