Pele is a senior gent of 18 years – who was entrusted to us with great sadness. He’s been to see our vets, had bloods taken and a good thorough check and pronounced by Dr Sophie to be pretty good for such an old chook. His eyesight is not great, his hearing is going and he has arthritis that gives him a bit of grief but for a guy who’s about 85 in human years…
NOT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION Little Bonsai is an 11 yo Chihuahua x Pomeranian. He’s a tiny little chap with a beautiful coloured coat and a very sweet face. Bonsai has some siezures and his previous owner has asked that he stay in care at Hope Springs.
Digby will be staying in care, whilst we assist him work through some issues. Digby is an 8 yo Bichon Frise X Cavalier. He’s lead quite a sheltered life with one person who didn’t get out much and suffered from extreme anxiety – so this little pup also suffers from anxiety. He’s had his vet work completed, loves a walk, enjoys his selected toys and likes to be with his favourite person as much as possible….
Chewie is a lovely old fella of 11 – who’s almost blind. He’s a gentle old soul, who is very well mannered and enjoys a wander round (and round) the garden – using his nose to make up for his lack of sight. Because of his near blindness, Chewie is going to retire with us and stay in long term care.
