Hope Springs Farm Stay Holidays<\/strong><\/p>\nHello Muddah, Hello Faddah,<\/p>\n
Here I am at – Camp Mt Barker<\/p>\n
Camp is very – entertaining<\/p>\n
Chasing ducks into the water<\/p>\n
When it’s not raining.<\/p>\n
We went hiking, up the Summit<\/p>\n
Saw some kangaroos and some rabbits<\/p>\n
Hender loop walk – gives us calfies<\/p>\n
Love the way they run away – when we do barkies<\/p>\n
Harper Road walk – we see Brownie<\/p>\n
He runs the fence \u00a0like – he is crazy<\/p>\n
Winery Road walk – is very pretty<\/p>\n
Maisie flurbles – Dog-father says she\u2019s being very lazy<\/p>\n

Then there\u2019s Oscar \u2013 he\u2019s a big bird –<\/p>\n
He could stomp you \u2013 or so I\u2019ve heard<\/p>\n
He’s got long legs and a long neck<\/p>\n
Makes him kinda\u2019 look \u2013 somewhat ab-surd<\/p>\n

Folklore says \u2013 he likes to wander<\/p>\n
Down the driveway \u2013 and somewhere yonder<\/p>\n
Heard it tell that – he likes to donk you<\/p>\n
Eats nuts and bolts and paint \u2013 resulting in \u2013 some coloured poo!<\/p>\n

Leroy and Lottie are very cranky<\/p>\n
They\u2019ve got long necks \u2013 makes them look lanky<\/p>\n
They hiss and flap and honk their heads away<\/p>\n
Seems to me \u2013 they\u2019ve got an awful lot they want to say!<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Rosie and Reuben \u2013 gosling hatching<\/p>\n
Dougal and Ollie \u2013 need friends matching<\/p>\n
Then there\u2019s chickens \u2013 round the corner<\/p>\n
About Mo the Rooster \u2013 we havta\u2019 warn ya!<\/p>\n
An alpaca \u2013 name of Kuna<\/p>\n
Wish I\u2019d known him, kind of sooner<\/p>\n
He\u2019s a fun guy and he likes to tease<\/p>\n
Aussie watches on and sniggers –\u00a0\u00a0 at what he sees!<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The Hope Springs Gang – they are okay<\/p>\n
Though it seems they sometimes – have a lot to say<\/p>\n
That Dog-Father \u2013 he\u2019s a good cook<\/p>\n
And the laps and pats are plenty when you need a sook.<\/p>\n
Muddah, Faddah \u2013 I say in earnest<\/p>\n
Not a bad place to take \u2013 a rest!<\/p>\n
No need to worry \u2013 I am o-kay<\/p>\n
Havin’ quite a blast – on my farm-stay holi-day!<\/p>\n
