This may have been the most heartbreaking <span class=\"fxk3tzhb b2rh1bv3 gh55jysx m8h3af8h ewco64xe kjdc1dyq ms56khn7 bq6c9xl4 eohcrkr5 akh3l2rg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/t25\/3\/16\/1f494.png\" alt=\"&#x1f494;\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" \/><\/span> yet. Abby\u2019s body had given up on her &#8211; she struggled to stand and walk and couldn\u2019t eat. She tried so valiantly though &#8211; to get to her feet and walk and she came for treats and was excited about dinner even though she couldn\u2019t eat. Her spirit was indomitable and there was still so much light and life in her eyes. We spent some time together today &#8211; sitting in the sunshine <span class=\"fxk3tzhb b2rh1bv3 gh55jysx m8h3af8h ewco64xe kjdc1dyq ms56khn7 bq6c9xl4 eohcrkr5 akh3l2rg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/t6f\/3\/16\/2600.png\" alt=\"&#x2600;&#xfe0f;\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" \/><\/span> and she looked up at me several times. I\u2019m not sure what she wanted me to know but I thanked her for the time we\u2019ve had together and reassured her that she\u2019d been &#8211; The Best Dog Ever! She peacefully went to sleep this evening and won\u2019t now suffer a major seizure that takes her life painfully or struggle increasingly. Vale little sweetheart &#8211; we\u2019ll always remember you and speak of you often.
